Catalog description

Refinement of the student’s understanding of the research process, qualitative and quantitative research design, and corresponding methods of analysis. Sampling theory, recruitment of participants, methods of data collection, reliability and validity, and scientific rigor are explored. Students analyze, evaluate, and interpret studies contributing evidence for practice and knowledge development. Students will prepare a draft proposal for their directed graduate project. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing Program.
