Advanced Health Assessment

Catalog description

Examines the theory and practice of advanced health assessment and application to the advanced nursing role. Emphasizes the analysis and synthesis of subjective and objective data to diagnose health problems and develop management plans is made. Focuses on promotion of health in individuals across the age range and within the family, community, and cultural context. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Corequisite(s): NURS 503 .
