Catalog description

Integration, application and evaluation of specific information regarding health education and health promotion theory, research, and practice, which is essential to the professional nursing role, and critical to improving the health of individuals and the population at large. Explores the effects of developmental, motivational, and sociocultural factors on patient teaching, health education, and health promotion. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Nursing program. Prerequisite(s): Traditional BSN: NURS 220 and NURS 221 ADN/RN-BSN: NURS 310 and NURS 311 Corequisite(s): Traditional BSN: NURS 212B , NURS 222 , and NURS 223 ADN/RN-BSN: NURS 352
