Catalog description

Examines the relationship between marketing and society, and introduces students to the role of ethics in marketing. Explores current issues and criticisms facing marketing to understand marketers’ responsibilities and impact on society. Enables students to think critically about marketing’s role in society, and further develops their ethical decision-making skills as marketing professionals. Equips students with important skills for creating successful social marketing plans. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: MKTG 484-7. Prerequisite(s): MKTG 302 or MKTG 305 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
