Catalog description
Provides an introduction to digital forensics from a business information systems perspective, addressing the principles, standards, and methodologies of digital forensics and investigations in a business environment. Teaches the fundamental concepts and popular techniques of digital forensics, experiencing how they can be used to secure various aspects of business administration. Emphasizes learning via practice, cultivating students’ capability of completing digital forensics tasks based on real-world data and use-cases. Prerequisite(s): MIS 302 or MIS 304 or ACCT 308 , with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
