Examines foundations and applications of generative artificial intelligence and large vision-language models (LVLMs) in business information systems. Explores key concepts, methods, and algorithms, gaining hands-on experience with building and utilizing generative models for text, image and video creation, and advanced reasoning for business-use cases. Focuses on practical-use cases and prepares students to design and implement AI-driven solutions for business challenges, while addressing ethical and managerial considerations. Trains students to harness generative AI for innovation and value creation in business. Prerequisite(s): MIS 302 or MIS 304 .
