Catalog description
Surveys management information systems topics with an emphasis on service applications. Includes computer hardware and software, databases, information systems development, and the role of information systems in the organization. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: MIS 304 If a student takes both MIS 302 and MIS 304, only MIS 304 will count for credit. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have completed all lower-division pre-business core (major status in Business Administration - i.e. attained business status) or Biotechnology majors. Prerequisite(s): For BIOT students: ( ACCT 201 and ACCT 202 ) or ACCT 203 ; and ( MATH 132 or MATH 150 ), with grades of C (2.0) or better in all courses.
