Catalog description

Examines the development of the Internet and textual, graphic, video, and audio digital media. Provides an overview of the personal, commercial, educational, and entertainment uses of the Internet. Explores the social and cultural contexts of digital media, and how they reflect social, economic, and political power related to gender, race, social class, ethnicity, education, and other social groupings. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: COMM 370.
