Catalog description

Theory and applications of partial differential equations. Cauchy problems, boundary problems, the Cauchy-Kovalevsky Theorem, Fourier Series, harmonic functions, elliptic equations, and hyperbolic equations. Enrollment Requirement(s): MATH 260 and MATH 362 . Prerequisite(s): for undergraduates and Enrollment Requirement for graduate students: MATH 430 , and either MATH 264 or MATH 374 , all with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
