Regression Analysis

Catalog description

Introduces the distributions necessary for the analysis of linear models such as the multivariate normal, t-, and chi square distributions. Also covers one- and multi-dimensional linear regression models with quantitative and qualitative variables, variable screening methods, residual analysis, and logistic regression. The use of statistical software such as R is required. Prerequisite(s): MATH 441 and ( MATH 374 or MATH 264 ) each with a grade C (2.0) or better.
