Catalog description
Covers real and complex vector spaces, subspaces, independence, bases, dimension, linear transformations, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, inner product spaces and orthogonality, diagonalization, introduction to spectral theorems and normal forms. Some overlap with MATH 264 , but from an advanced, theoretical viewpoint. Prerequisite(s): MATH 264 with a grade of C (2.0) or better, and either MATH 270 with a grade of B (3.0) or better OR MATH 350 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
