Catalog description
Basic calculus concepts with applications to business, economics, and the social sciences. Differential calculus for algebraic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; optimization, linearization, and other applications of derivatives; introduction to integral calculus. Prerequisite(s): A passing score on the calculus readiness diagnostic, or MATH 105 or MATH 115 or MATH 125 with a grade of C (2.0) or better. Students who have taken precalculus or the equivalent in high school are encouraged to take the calculus readiness diagnostic in lieu of MATH 105/115/125. Satisfies GE area: 2
