Catalog description

Covers college algebra with integrated review of intermediate algebra. Includes graphs, equations, inequalities, and functions (linear, polynomial, rational, root, exponential, logarithmic). Three hours of lecture. Two hours of activity. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: MATH 125 or MATH 126 . Also offered as ESM 105 , and equivalent to MATH 115 ; students may receive credit for only one of the courses. Enrollment Restrictions: For students who matriculated prior to Fall 2018: Enrollment restricted to students who have completed the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) requirement. For students matriculating in Fall 2018 or later: Enrollment restricted to students who have declared a major or minor that requires completion of Math 105, MATH 115 , MATH 125 , MATH 126 , MATH 132 , MATH 150 , or MATH 160 or are Liberal Studies majors who have declared an Area of Focus in Mathematics.
