Catalog description

Covers finite mathematics with integrated review of intermediate algebra. Examines graphs, equations, inequalities, and functions (linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithm), basic probability, data descriptions, and measures of central tendency and dispersion. Intended as a mathematical foundation for students not on a track to take calculus. Three hours of lecture. Two hours of activity. Satisfies GE area: 2
