Catalog description

Focused exploration of the relationship between the theories and practices of composition instruction, with special attention to the challenges and rewards of an informed composition pedagogy praxis. Introduces professional expectations for careers in lower-division college composition instruction and develops pedagogical practices in composition. Supports Teaching Associates in the CSUSM GEW program. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Literature and Writing Studies M.A. students. Students must enroll in LTWR 602B when teaching GEW 101B for the first time. Prerequisite(s): LTWR 602A .
