Catalog description

Readings in some of the major conceptual texts that have framed work in cultural studies, with particular emphasis on those drawn from critical theory, studies in colonialism, cultural anthropology, feminism, semiotics, gay/lesbian studies, and historicism. Examination of literature among other cultural artifacts in a variety of social contexts and from a number of theoretical and historical perspectives. Prerequisite(s): LTWR 300A and LTWR 300B .
