Catalog description

Covers the foundational elements of literary argumentation, including style, grammar, structure, tone, close reading, and textual evidence. Explores the conventions of literary analysis papers. Students will be asked to present their own writing in class and to respond both to published literature and to the writing of other students. Enrollment Requirement(s): Completion of the lower-division General Education requirement in Critical Thinking (A3). Prerequisite(s): GEW 101B and either LTWR 100 , LTWR 208A , LTWR 208B or LTWR 210 .
