Kinesiology Capstone Project

Catalog description
Focuses on practical application of Kinesiology principles and competencies in a project-based format. Emphasizes industry/community engagement and demonstrates critical thinking skills. Includes, but not limited to, options such as grant proposal writing, physical activity needs assessment, curriculum or program development, secondary data analysis, and/or agency based project. Must work with a faculty advisor for approval of project. Grading Basis: Credit/ No Credit with Report in Progress. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students admitted to the Kinesiology, M.S. program who have advanced to candidacy and have received consent of faculty advisor and graduate coordinator. Enrollment Requirement(s): Two faculty, including the primary mentor, must agree to serve as part of the student’s project committee.
