Wellness Coach Field Practicum II

Catalog description

Provides intermediate and advanced experience delivering services , primarily but not limited to youth (ages 0-25), which may include wellness promotion and education, behavioral health screening, individual and group support, care coordination, and/or crisis referral. Practicum experiences may be supervised by a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentialed professional in school settings or a licensed behavioral health provider in community settings, comprising approximately 14-20 hours per week, for a minimum of 200 hours during the semester. May be repeated for a total of six (6) units, but no more than three (3) units of credit may be applied toward the major. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Human Development majors in the Counseling Services Concentration. Prerequisite(s): HD 393 .
