Wellness Coach Field Practicum I

Catalog description

Provides experience delivering services, primarily but not limited to youth (ages 0-25), which may include wellness promotion and education, behavioral health screening, individual and group support, care coordination, and/or crisis referral. Practicum experiences may be supervised by a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentialed professional in school settings or a licensed behavioral health provider in community settings, comprising approximately 7-10 hours per week, for a minimum of 100 hours during the semester. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Human Development majors in the Counseling Services Concentration. Prerequisite(s): HD 360 , HD 361 .
