A critical analysis of the contemporary and historical importance of social and public policies and their relevance to the development of health and human services programs. Explores social, cultural, and economic groups across the life-span. Reviews the historical development of social and public policy in the U.S. as it pertains to health and human services. Prerequisite(s): HD 101 , and PSYC 100 or HD 102 .
