Catalog description
Examines secondary trauma and trauma-informed care, advanced crisis management and suicide prevention, abnormal psychology, neurodivergence, disability approaches, and substance use disorder. Develops skills in suicide impact assessments and crisis intervention. Prepares students for roles in behavioral health and wellness coaching, emphasizing culturally relevant and trauma-informed practices. Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): HD 360 .
