Catalog description

Focuses on methods for conducting action research in social settings and guided by information gathering, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Emphasis on applied research methods for improving personal practice, human services delivery, educational practice, departmental operations, organizational effectiveness, and community well-being. Students will be expected to identify a topic of interest and write an action-oriented research proposal. Prerequisite(s): HD 220 .
