Explores debates animating environmental political theory, sustainability, and human rights, with an emphasis on how the implicit assumptions of various actors influence their approaches to environmental politics and activism. Addresses frameworks for addressing racial, economic, and ethnic inequalities in environmental conditions. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: PSCI 479-2.
