Catalog description

Analysis and design of analog and digital communication systems and circuits. Modulation and demodulation techniques including amplitude modulation (AM), frequency modulation (FM), and phase modulation (PM). Time and frequency domain concepts including Fourier transforms. Selected subjects may include noise, bandwidth, fiber optics, RF and wireless communications systems. Three hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Prerequisite(s): EE 303 and EE 210 , both with a C (2.0) or better.
