Catalog description
Provides practices to build system-level thinking, technical automation, and control skills for students through practical exercises and simulation. Equips students with hands-on knowledge in response to long-term industry demands. Teaches the fundamentals of robotics and aerospace by performing a hands-on, project-based approach. Ranges from mathematical and mechanical modeling, electronics circuit design, to artificial intelligence programming and implantation through the lens of robotics and aeronautics. Covers robotic technologies, drones, UAVs and electric aircraft technologies. Recommended Preparation: EE 310 . Two hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Electrical Engineering program with Senior status. Prerequisite(s): EE 402 with a minimum grade of C (2.0). Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): EE 420 .
