Explores microcontroller interfacing with sensors, actuators, communication modules, and other peripherals. Includes real-time operating systems and advanced debugging. Follows the development of a complete embedded system with a command line interface to monitor, control, and test system modules. Emphasizes hands-on learning and practical application. Designed for students interested in advanced embedded systems and hardware-software integration. Suitable for those pursuing careers in electronics, robotics, or system design. Prior knowledge of basic microcontrollers recommended. Two hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Prerequisite(s): EE 402 .
