Explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is integrated into the field of electrical engineering. Introduces commonly used AI approaches for solving engineering problems, and focuses on their applications in various subfields of electrical engineering, including signal processing, communication systems, power systems, and control systems. Includes hands-on activities and case studies in areas such as biomedical signal processing, speech and audio signal processing, image processing, and robotic arms controlling. Two hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Prerequisite(s): EE 210 , EE 280 , and EE 303 . Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): MATH 342 .
