Catalog description

Introduces electro- and magneto-statics, including Maxwell’s Equations. Includes electrostatic potential, static electric and magnetic fields, electric and magnetic flux, effects of fields on matter, and solution methods. Recommended Preparation: PHYS 203 . May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: PHYS 321 . Cross-listed: EE 321 and PHYS 321 are cross-listed. Students may not receive credit for both. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 202 or PHYS 206 , and MATH 260 .
