Advanced Methods in Science Teaching II: Physical Science Emphasis

Catalog description

Has a multidimensional purpose: includes an overview of the major topics related to the Physical Sciences by integrating the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science. Also includes the examination and practice of a variety of instructional models that enhance learning of science concepts and processes. Rationales for the use of each model will be included. Emphases will be placed on both science content and inquiry instruction. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment Restriction: Enrollment in the Education Master’s Program and/or hold credential.
