Advanced Methods in Science Teaching I: Life Science Emphasis

Catalog description

Has a multidimensional purpose: includes an overview of the major subjects in the Life Sciences, as well as the examination and practice of a variety of instructional models which enhance learning of science concepts and processes. Rationales for the use of each model will be included. Emphases will be placed on both science content and inquiry instruction. The practice and use of authentic assessments for effective science teaching will also be examined.
