Catalog description

Explores modern practices in STEM education and students’ conceptions of various topics in mathematics and science. Focuses on practical issues encountered in facilitating learning, managing the classroom, formative and summative assessment, curricular development, and differentiating instruction in a collaborative environment. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDUC 494 -1. Grading Basis: Graded Credit/No Credit. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of instructor.
