Secondary Art Education

Catalog description

Prepares students to teach art in K-12 schools. Incorporates hands-on experience in art education procedures, including theory and pedagogy for the prospective art teacher. Provides a studio atmosphere designed to support students as they complete projects and learn research-based methodologies that are aligned with state teaching standards. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDSS 591-3. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in a School of Education Teacher Credential Program or who hold a valid CA Teaching Credential.
