Catalog description

Provides principles of blockchain technology and hands-on practices of smart contract development. Includes the principles of decentralized ledgers and consensus, technical aspects of blockchain technology, smart contracts and DApps (Decentralized Applications). Includes Bitcoin and Ethereum as case studies, and basic-to-advanced levels of smart contract development and applications. Students will engage hands-on in the design, implementation and evaluation of DApps. Prerequisite(s): CS 311 or admission to the Computer Science graduate program.
