Catalog description

Discusses the social, ethical, and legal issues and impacts of computing, as well as the contributions of computer science to current and future innovations in the arts, business, humanities, medicine, and science. Emphasizes effective pedagogical approaches for teaching programming and problem solving that combines pedagogical strategies and computer science domain knowledge. Note: The units for this course count toward only the Supplementary Authorization in Computer Science credential program. Enrollment Requirement(s): Enrollment in the Supplementary Authorization in Computer Science Credential program . Prerequisite(s): CS 390 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
