Catalog description

Includes advanced study of evidence-based assessment and diagnosis of children and adolescents. Covers selected developmental, behavioral, and mental health disorders in children and adolescents and related classification systems and evidence-based assessment practices. Focuses on appropriate use of selected tools, including skills practice with test administration, scoring, and interpretation. Also covers developmental, cultural and ethical issues related to assessment and diagnosis. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology program, who have obtained consent of program director.
