Examines interviewing as a method for eliciting information, resolving problems, and building personal communities. Principles of effective interviewing in a variety of contexts are examined. Students learn about interviewing practices that will be useful to their everyday lives and careers. Requires students to conduct various types of interviews and self-appraisals of interviewing performance.
