Catalog description

Introduction to theories of language and interaction. Addresses how language is used within social and institutional interaction. Special emphasis will be given to problematic situations and their resolution. Fosters cultural awareness through a concentration on the interactions in which culture is constructed and the cultural institutions by which interaction is governed.
