Catalog description

Designed to introduce the student to experimental and computational techniques in physical chemistry. The laboratory experiments will cover topics in chemical thermodynamics, molecular spectroscopy, chemical kinetics, and computational chemistry. Emphasizes the application of theoretical principles in the interpretation of the experimental and computational results. One hour of lecture. May be repeated with consent of instructor. Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): CHEM 401 .
