Catalog description

Practical experience for science majors interested in chemistry teaching. Involves assisting the faculty member teaching in a chemistry laboratory or classroom setting. Includes individual supervision of teaching. A written report/journal is required. One hour of conference. Three hours of lecture/laboratory per unit. May be repeated for a total of two (2) units. Grading Basis: Graded Credit/No Credit. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment is restricted to students who have obtained consent of instructor. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 160 and CHEM 202 with minimum grades of C (2.0).
