Introduces the basic design principles for greener chemical technologies, widely used practices - including catalysis, use of renewable starting materials, minimization of energy inputs, and use of greener solvents. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: CHEM 493-2. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 201 and CHEM 201L .
