Catalog description

Covers the chemistry of wildfires and their impacts including toxicology, chemical effects on the atmosphere, terrestrial and aquatic environments, and occupational hazards of firefighting from a chemical standpoint. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: CHEM 390-2. Grading Basis: Graded with Report in Progress. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to Wildfire Science and Urban Interface majors. Prerequisite(s): FIRE 105 .
