Introduces first-year students to the biotechnology major. Navigates the biotechnology major program and the course work required to graduate. Explores the biotechnology field, preparing for careers in biotechnology, in part-time and full-time employment opportunities. Understand the elective courses and their value. Includes guest speakers, attendance at various biotech meetings and meetings with faculty. Grading Basis: Credit / No Credit.
