Catalog description
Biological, chemical, and physical processes controlling the transport and transformation of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, and trace metals in natural ecosystems and at the global level. Global models of the major elemental and hydrologic cycles are discussed, with emphasis on the linkages between cycles and the effects of human perturbations. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 354 , or enrollment in the Biological Sciences graduate program.
