Catalog description

Concepts in functional anatomy and physiology will be integrated with current concepts in health and medicine. Includes anatomy of musculature associated with physical exertion; physiology of muscle systems, cardiovascular system, and nervous system pertaining to the physical movement of exercise. Emphasis on preventative health care, exercise and health of women, and gender differences in physiology and health. Satisfies GE area: UD25
