Catalog description

Experiential course covers topics within the scope of organizational communication from the perspective of managers looking to improve their ability to communicate more strategically at work. Covers impression management, personality and fit, teamwork, incivility, conflict resolution, as well as electronic workplace communication. Draws from current knowledge and recent research in the fields of Organizational Behavior (OB) and Communication to improve managerial communication skills and proficiencies. Emphasizes self-development, acquiring a practical and applied understanding of concepts. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: BA 690-17. Prerequisite(s): BA 616 .
