Catalog description

Provides an introduction to solar system and stellar astronomy. The historical development of astronomy is presented as well as modern theories, observations, and ideas concerning the nature and evolution of planets, stars, and galaxies. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: ASTR 342 or PHYS 342. Satisfies the Liberal Studies requirement for Earth Science.
