Includes study of material culture, the archaeological record, survey and excavation, dating technologies, and subsistence patterns. Includes the examination of local archaeological sites/collections, pictographs, lithic techniques, indigenous land and resource management practices, indigenous knowledge of archaeological sites, including ceremonial, food gathering and processing, village sites, and contemporary use of culturally significant sites by local indigenous bands.
