Catalog description

Explores the theory and practice of screenwriting and media writing and narrative, as commonly seen in fiction and factually based film and television. Through theory and workshops, this course examines structure, archetypes, character, theme, plot, conflict, action, and dialogue. Students create scenes, outlines, and analysis of their own original stories. Recommended Preparation: AMD 432 . May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: VSAR 433 or MASS 433. Satisfies GE area: UD3
