Catalog description

Explores contemporary world cultural practices ranging from indigenous expressions to electronic forms in a global and multi-disciplinary context. Encompasses regional art and cultures of Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, examined through the multiple viewpoints of gender, race, class, and sexuality. Explores diverse cultural practices shaped by memories and aspirations as well as by personal collective and mythic histories.
